Photo Gallery | Images of a 'swift water' rescue

These images reflect what happens when motorists drive around barricades and enter washes.  Fire departments are called out to pull them from harm. 

This was a response earlier this week after a particularly bad monsoon hit the area just southwest of Tucson.  Drexel Heights was called out to help this motorist, stranded in running water. 

Residents are encouraged to remember - don't drown, turn around!
