Construction workers find Hispanic man dead in drainage ditch | News

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now)- Pima County Sheriff's Department reported finding a body on the City's south side this morning.
According to PCSD Deputy Tom Peine the body was discovered around 8 a.m., in a drainage ditch off Drexel near I-10.
The initial discovery was made by construction workers doing survey work in the area, according to PCSD officials. The body appears to be that of a male, in his late teens or early twenties.
Tucson News Now has also learned that the body was identified as a Hispanic male.
PCSD officials are also saying homicide detectives with the Sheriff's Department are on scene conducting an investigation, due to obvious signs of trauma to the body.
The victim was found clothed and in plain sight.
Authorities are encouraging anyone with information on the incident to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
