Devereux Arizona to open new children’s respite facility

Devereux Arizona announced in May that remodeling efforts are underway for a new Tucson Children’s Respite Facility, which is slated to open early this summer.    The facility will be available to the parents of children who are currently receiving services through the behavioral health network. 

Centrally located on the bus line at Speedway and Dodge, Devereux’s Respite Facility will be open and professionally staffed Fridays through Sundays for youth and adolescents ages 4-17. The respite facility will also meet all safety requirements, yet provide a home-like setting where participants will have the opportunity for social interaction, fun recreational activities in a safe, structured environment as well as various community outings.
