Burglary suspect arrested; Admits to several Pima County burglaries

A man wanted in connection with dozens of robbery cases in Marana, Oro Valley, Sahuarita and other Pima County areas is under arrest.

The Marana Police Department took Raul Ruben Ramos into custody Thursday in the area of Interstate 10 and 22nd Street.

Marana Police worked with several other law enforcement agencies to conduct surveillance on his truck. Investigators say he admitted to several burglaries within the Pima County area, including Oro Valley and Sahuarita.

Since September, several commercial burglaries have occurred at strip malls on the northwest side of Tucson. Investigators were looking into 50 cases in several citites. The burglaries were similar in methods of operation.

Ramos was charged with a burglary at Nana's Kitchen and another in Pima County.
