Mobile Meals is in need of volunteer delivery drivers | Community Spirit
Mobile Meals is asking the public for help, they are in need of volunteers for their program.
Many of the volunteers for the Mobile Meals program are winter visitors and will soon be leaving the Tucson area, leaving two neighborhoods without a delivery volunteer.
The two regions that require service are to the south and southwest of Tucson, that means 32 Mobile Meal clients will have no one to deliver their meals.
This is where Mobile Meals needs the public’s help, they need volunteers for these two routes.
Mobile Meals helps provide health, dignity and independence to housebound adults, and they do this by delivering special diet meals every Monday through Friday.
For those interested in volunteering their time, please contact Priscilla Altuna, the Executive Director or Jeanne Miller, Volunteer Coordinator at (520) 622-1600 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
