TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now)- The turkeys have been cooked and eaten, the shoppers are starting their
shopping and now the trees are for sale especially at one local farm.
Today, November 29 marks the 5th annual Christmas tree season for
Buckelew Farms. It was five years ago
that Clint Buckelew traded pumpkins for Christmas trees from a farmer in Oregon
and decided to open a tree lot in Tucson. There are now eight lots to choose from all
Buckelew Farms trees are fresh from Oregon, with new shipments arriving
weekly. Each tree is guaranteed to be
fresh and smell wonderful, according to a Buckelew Farms news release. There are four different types of tree
available this season:
Douglas Fir, Noble Fir, Grand Fir and Nordman Fir – all four varieties
range in size from two feet to 14 feet tall.
