New Walmart store brings 300 jobs to south Tucson

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now)- Walmart's new store in south Tucson will open Friday morning.

The company's 155,000 square-foot Super Center will open at 1260 E. Tucson Marketplace Blvd., near Kino Parkway and 36th Street.

Walmart's grand opening ceremonies will be at 7:30 a.m. 

The store, which is expected to employ 300, will open at 8 a.m.
